Founded in 1992, the Piedmont Breeders' Futurity includes the top Stallions in the Paso Fino Breed.  The Piedmont Futurity has become a showcase for the offspring of these top Stallions.  For a one-time fee, owners enter their Stallions  into the futurity.  For a small fee, any foals out of these Stallions can then be registered for the Piedmont Futurity with multiple opportunities to win cash prizes.  Over $250,000 has been awarded since the first class held in 1993.

All Piedmont Futurity registered offspring of a nominated Stallion can compete for prize money as a yearling in Bella Forma and a four-year-old under saddle in the Pleasure, Performance, and Fino Divisions.  All geldings have an additional bonus to compete as five-year-olds.
